Jawaharlal Nehru Government Engineering College [JNGEC] was established in the year 2006 at Sundernagar, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. It is a government controlled college and is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh Technical University [HPTU].
Jawaharlal Nehru Government Engineering College offers around 250 seats for 4-year Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) courses in four disciplines, viz Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Textile Engineering.
  • The selection to B.Tech courses is based on marks obtained in the qualifying entrance exams.
  • Both the entrance exams of JEE Main and HPCET are considered for the same.
  • Lateral entry seats are also available for the students who wish to directly join from the 2nd year of engineering.
  • Diploma Holders and B.Sc. graduates can apply for this lateral entry scheme.
  • The application form has to be filled online which can be downloaded from the college website or HPTU website from the month of June.
